Christmas Fun!!!

This weekend we took Landen to see Santa. It was so funny Landen got about 5 feet from Santa and said "Helmet and bike!" He didn't want anything to do with him except for telling him what he wanted for Christmas. So to get him to take a picture with Santa I had to take a picture also. It was great fun and Landen wasn't even looking at the camera. After he got a candy cane he didn't mind Santa to much and was actually talking to him and not demanding things. After Santa we got our Christmas tree and decorated it. We had a great time and the tree looks great!

On Monday my mommy group had a treat exchange. That was great I feel like I gained a 100lbs. after that. I brought home a bunch of yummy treats to share and got really great recipes to try on my own.

Last night Landen and I went to my moms holiday party at work. of course there was a Santa there and this time Landen went running FOR him!!! I was amazed he sat of his lap and everything. I guess he just really likes candy canes. lol.

I'm kicking Landen into gear on the whole potty training issue. I am putting him on the pot every 20 minutes. He hasn't had a wet diaper today so it seems to be working out.

On the downside to the past weekend, everything that could have gone wrong did! Chris's truck broke down at Wal-Mart parking lot because the battery was get corroded. He bought the wrong chains for the truck 3 times. Yesterday the battery died before he went to work. and Today our houses water pipes froze.

Hello Agian!

So I have been super busy with finding a job, going back to school, helping my mom with school, taking care of a toddler and a puppy, and doing stuff with the mommy group.

So, I just started the steps of going back to school and it has not been easy. I fuguir since I can't find a job then I should go back to school. Next fall I will be going to TMCC to become a oral surgen assitant. They make great money and the job isn't very hard. My mom started going back to school to become a teacher about 3 monthes ago and she has been needing a lot of help getting back into the learning stage.

On Thanksgiving we went to my mom's house. I ended up doing most of the cooking and serving. Then we went to Matt and Jana's house for diner. It was fun and the food was great. I had a lot of fun playing Wii with Jana and Landen really liked her mom.

Landen has had a cold since Thanksgiving so he has been a handful. Luke is doing okay. I am having a hard time potty training but he is going to go to classes after the holiday's.

Yes I am still alive...

So I haven't posted in a long time. Halloween was great! Landen had a great time dressing up, craving pumpkins, and putting candy. Chris and I also had fun we went to Matt and Jana's house and has some yummy finger foods. The day after Halloween we went to dinner and a haunted house. It was fun and of course I was scared.On the 7th we went to Vegas. Don't worry it wasn't all that fun. We only eat at Panda Express and went to the M&M's World store. The went there to pick up our puppy. We got a 8 week old Weimaraner. We named him Luke Shire. He is super cute, playful, and small. We also picked up his brother and sister for a guy in Tahoe. I am watching them til the 19th so my hands have been a little full lately. Landen turned two on Tuesday and we had a little get together for him. He got great gifts and loves them all. This weekend Chris is going hunting for coyotes and Jana and I are going to paint some pottery.

Some other news Chris going on swing on Sunday and he got a raise! I had an interview with Starbucks and the manager wants to see me again on two weeks. I hope I get the job. I want an easy going laid back job for now so I don't have to stress about anything. Thanksgiving is next week and Chris has to work so we are having a brunch type of thing at my moms and his mom and uncle are coming to. I can't wait for Christmas! I will update with pictures of the puppies and Landen's party soon.

The Update of a Life Time

So the wedding was amazing! It went by so smooth and everything turned out perfect. Everyone that really mattered showed up. There was a few small bumps in the road but we all got through them. The decorations were amazing. The food and cake turned out great. The flowers were wonderful. Chris and I both got up there and said I do. I had a wonderful time with all the family and friends. Some partied a little to hard bu it is all okay. I just want to say thank you all for coming and being there for our big day. I have not got the pictures from the photographer yet but when I do I will put some on.

Another Weekend in the Life of a Stressed Bride!

Hello everyone! This weekend was alright. We went up to Sand Mountain on Friday night for Chris' best man Mike's birthday. It wasn't horable but I basicly sat alone the entire night. I don't not get along with all his friends but I hardly ever come around so they don't really include me in the conversation. Before Chris got drunk he actually took me for a ride to the top of the mountain. It was really scary but fun. I don't think I have been on a quad in like 4 years. Chris got really drunk and I had to take care of him.

We left at 7am on Saturday morning so I could be back to get my hair done by 9. I was going to go blond but I just couldn't do it right before the wedding. What if I would have hated it? I wouldn't have been able to fix it so therefore I just got my normal blond high lights. I did do something a little different I added some copper high lights. It looks really good. Next time I get my hair done I am going dirty blond with bleach blond and copper high lights. Landen, Chris, and Christopher also got their hair cut. Oh and I got this lovely huge zip right on my chin so hopefully it goes away before the wedding. Everything for the wedding is pretty much done. I might make signs for the road up to the lodge but I am not sure. OMG I forgot I finally got the mom a dress it looks so good I just need a cream color undershirt for her but it looks great. Tomorrow Beth picks up her dress. Thursday the flowers show up, I have a nail and feet appointment, and we are getting all the food and stuff for the wedding. Friday we pick up the rental car at noon and we are off to the lodge. I so can't wait and I have to say it again thank you so much Jana without you this wouldn't be happening!

I Know It Has Been A While But....

So the last couple of weeks have been so hectic. We have had Monday night footballs, craft shows, inventory's, working extra hours, etc.

On Thursday Landen, Jeremy, and I went to Olive Garden for September Mom's Birthday Lunch with our mommy group. Then we went to the zoo. They loved it and I had to pry Landen off the fence by the monkeys. He loved the baby monkey that was playing with him. Then On Friday I helped Sally do Mary Kay paper work and inventory.

Last weekend was fun. On Saturday I went up to the Candy Dance craft show. I only bought one thing for myself ( a really cute cell phone charm) plus I got another brides maids gift and a Christmas gift. It was a lot of walking and was really hot but fun.

On Sunday Jana and I went up to the lodge to make sure we didn't need to bring anything up for the wedding. It was a fun little trip and we don't need to bring anything. Also we put together the guest goody bags. It was very simples and I had fun doing it. Unfortunately I woke up with some allergy thing and now it has moved into my chest.

Yesterday was a bit scary. I was still sick so I was eating a cup of noodle and all of a sudden my nose started bleeding. It was bleeding non stop for about 40 min. I lost so much blood I was dizzy and felt nauseous. So I ended up having to lay down for a while and my mommy came over with a huge stake and made me eat it to rebuild my blood. She also made me drink a ton of OJ and every time I would nod off she would shake me awake. But hey that's why everyone loves their moms right? Well at least for me. Oh I also picked up some more gifts for the girls and Beth finally dropped her dress off.

After I slept a while I felt a little better so we ended up going to Mike's for Monday night football. The Steelers won the games 13-20 in over time. Go Steelers!!

Our weekend to come!

This weekend is not going to be a fun! Chris might have to work all weekend! Which means Landen and I are going to be alone all weekend. I am so sad. So we are just going to go to the parks and play and do some cleaning. I might have one of the grandma's watch Landen for a while so I can get a fill but other than that I think we are going to be home bound. Next weekend we have to go up to the Lodge to do the inventory. I don't know if Chris will be off or working so I may have to do that on my own. I hope that Chris' job gives him set days off soon. It really sucks right now but it will be worth it soon. He has been getting a little overtime everyday so at least we should get a pretty good check. Landen really misses seeing his Daddy in the morning when he wakes up. I can't wait for him to go on swing. Other than that everything is fine. I am looking for a different job. The babysitting is taking its toll on me and I think that it may be causing my migraines. Everything for the wedding is coming together. I think I found a photographer for $300. So lets hope that works out. Oh and lets hope it stays cool out because our AC broke yesterday.

Weding Nevrousness

So the wedding is only 23 days away. I have been whiting my teeth so they look beautiful for the wedding. I ordered the flowers yesterday. Everyone has their clothes. I have a minister. I have made my hair appointment. I have figured out the food. The only thing now is I can't find a photographer for a descent price!!!

Our Week of ....

This week was a complete nightmare! First on Wednesday the Jeep got broken into. They tried to steal the stereo but couldn't get it out. So they just took the face for it. I mean in my opinion if you can't use just the face and couldn't get the rest of it why be a dick and take just the face. Then of Friday (Chris' last day of work at Jordan's) someone broke his windshield. Someone must have dropped or through something at it. The reason we know that is because on the way home from dinner on Friday night Chris punched the window and the crack he made was much bigger than the one there and the crack already in the window had two small holes. So early Saturday morning we had to go get a new windshield so that was $145 that we don't have anymore. We went to the Air races later that morning and it was horrible. It was super hot and Landen did not want to stay still for even a moment. Chris was in a bad mood and getting mad at everything so we left after about an hour or so. On our way home we stopped at our landlords house and we ended up being able to see the Thunder birds. It was really cool because the plains flew right over us and we could see everything. Plus we got to sit in the shade!! On Sunday we sat around and watched football. Steelers won 10 to 6 they beat the Browns!!! Go Steelers!!

So hopefully this week goes better! Chris started his new job today and I can't wait to hear all about it. Tonight we are going to Monday Night Football at Mike's parents house.The Cowboy are playing the Eagles. Everyone at Mike's is Cowboy fans and Chris and a few of the other guys are Eagles fans. Go Eagles!!

Oh and it is only 26 days til the wedding!!! I can not wait it is going to be so fun!!!
